The conflicks between Cash and Travis threatens their bond. Add the re-emergence of Jason, Travis' ex-lover. And a sinister deadly force who may well cut asunder Cash and Travis permanentely. A heart pounding cliff-hanger ending to this installment is gaurenteed to keep you awake nights for a while. This is a good read and well worth the time.

I really enjoyed the first book in the series but I enjoyed this second installment even better. It lends far greater depth to both Cash and Travis. You get a much deeper dive into each characters thoughts, desires, emotions and fears. In reading the well told story you immerse yourself into the character's lives. Very well written and I eagerly look forward to the next part of the story in book 3.
I really enjoyed book 1 in the series, Under The Big Sky and would rate it at 4.5 out of 5 stars, this was a 3 star read. That is, disappointing. However, I am hopeful that successive installments will be more like book 1.
